It’s never easy launching a brand, especially during a global pandemic like we have been experiencing over the last several months, but that’s just what Miami’s own Serial Entrepreneur Nick Molina and his team have accomplished.  Entering the massive market of dog food, his new venture, Hungry Bark, focuses on making premium food for dogs in the form of a needs-analysis custom formula that’s all done by an online quiz.  Today we’re happy to share with you some of the early Hungry Bark reviews and highlight yet another South Florida business making waves.

The Hungry Bark Dog Food Story

Before we get into consumer reviews, it’s important to know the “why” behind this business.

HungryBark.com was started to tackle an ongoing problem in the food food space:  lack of innovation.

While as humans we’ve addressed proper nutrition through eating gluten free, organic, and specialized foods that vary to us as individuals based on needs, age, and health issues, the dog food space hasn’t gone through the same nutritional advancements.  Let’s face it, dogs have needs too!  The common solution to dog food was a one size fits all bag of dog food that came in many different flavors a dog owner could choose from and essentially decide which one their dog liked and responded to best.

Dogs, like humans, have allergies, varied activity levels, and even genetic differences that makes them unique in what their bodies need nutritionally.

Premium dog food, with any sort of additional value-add, typically comes with an astronomical price tag.

The Solution: Hungry Bark Super Premium Dog Food Product

The plan started with formula’s made by leading pet nutritionists who focused on an all-natural blend of fresh animal proteins and sustainably-sourced super food ingredients.  Not to mention, these are all lab tested in the U.S.A before they even have a chance to make it to your dog’s bowl.

But that’s not all, the company gains a step up on the competition by offering a custom meal plan that looks into the characteristics of your dog, including it’s gender, breed, age, activity level, allergies, and other health goals.  Once you fill out the “Pup Quiz” on HungryBark.com, you’ll receive a unique meal plan that has been customized to your dog’s needs.

Hungry Bark Products

Currently the brand offers three types of products:

  • Kibble
  • Mix-In’s
  • Supplement Chews

Let’s first talk about the Kibble, which will most likely be the focus of the brand:

In my many years of owning a dog, kibble has been kibble to me.  It’s dry, smells the same, and it’s dog food.  However, unlike most brands, the Hungry Bark kibble is slow cooked and made with real animal proteins and high grade superfoods.  A nutritious meal made by experts in the field of pet nutrition.

Next, you have the Mix-ins.

This is a single protein ingredient that can help underweight dogs bulk up, or add a special treat for those picky dogs who don’t always get excited when it’s time to chow down.

Lastly, they offer supplement chews.

Served like a dog treat, these tasty chews will not only get your dog’s attention, but they also focus on a variety of health objectives including:

  • Heart
  • Skin & Coat
  • Digestion
  • Vitamins
  • Hips & Joints
  • Relaxation & Calming

What Are Hungry Bark Reviews Saying?

Being in business just a few months, the early reviews are quite impressive.  While I’m anxiously waiting for my shipment of Hungry Bark (I’ll update my review when I get the products and my dog has had a chance to devour them) all I can do is go off of the consumer reviews posted on various websites on the web.  Here’s a quick summary of some of the reviews people have been posting on third party, independent websites.

I just got my delivery of this super food and my dogs love it

While it’s early on in the game, there are many people who post a Hungry Bark review on social media, which are posted on the HungryBark official site.  It all points to a long term success and yet another big, disruptive business for a fellow South Florida business owner.

I’ll be back soon to post some additional notes once I can personally speak on this brand.  For now, I invite you to take their pup quiz on their website and see what sort of kibble is recommended for your dog.

If your brand is based in Florida and wants to be highlighted, please reach out to us on this page.

      Hi Kay,

Yes! Omg, the dogs absolutely love the food. I am a customer for life! Highly recommend you check them out. I ordered a few more items when it was time to re-order, so I’ll probably update this review and add those items in there too. Thanks for stopping by!
